SoccerBot360 and COPA Soccer Training Center partner to bring advanced soccer training technology to Copa’s Walnut Creek training facility.
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — COPA Soccer Training Center (COPA STC) is expanding its advanced soccer technology suite through a new strategic partnership with SoccerBot360. As part of the partnership, two SoccerBot360 systems will be installed at COPA STC’s flagship training facility in Walnut Creek, California, bringing the internationally recognized immersive training technology to COPA’s members and the broader Bay Area soccer community.
Soccerbot360 was originally developed in Europe in collaboration with certain professional Clubs operating in the first division German and Austrian Leagues. SoccerBot360 uses highly gamified immersive soccer training in a 360-degree virtual play environment. Players respond to visual cues and game-like scenarios in real time, creating a dynamic training experience designed to develop technical ability, awareness, decision-making, and speed of play.
The addition of SoccerBot360 will complement COPA STC’s existing training technologies and athletic performance areas, providing members with another advanced tool to support their development. By integrating SoccerBot360 into COPA’s broader training environment, players will be able to combine immersive sessions with other training technologies and resources available throughout the facility. The technology will also create new opportunities for interactive experiences such as birthday parties, group challenges and special events.
