MEMBER FAQ

COPA Train, COPA Kids and SpeedLab are all monthly membership-based programs with an auto-renewing billing cycle. Members of these programs commit to attending sessions at least one-time per week on a set day and time that they choose at registration. Our memberships do not have start or end dates, but are rolling memberships which continue from month to month. Become a member at anytime!

**We suggest that all members start with a free initial trial before committing to a membership. Learn more here!

To be considered a monthly member, your athlete must be actively attending one of our monthly membership-based programs (COPA Kids, COPA Train or SpeedLab). Our members receive perks like discounts towards camps, booking parties and other one-off special events.

To maximize your athlete’s objective development, it requires a consistent schedule and attendance by our members, combined with a progressive and purposeful curriculum from our program leadership. We don’t just want to tell you how your athlete’s improving, we want to show you. Because of this, we require members of our COPA Train, COPA Kids and SpeedLab programs to commit to a minimum of 3 months of membership.

COPA offers the option to freeze your membership at any time. There will be a $15.00 freeze charge billed on your regular billing date for each frozen month. You will not be billed your membership rate during a freeze. Freeze/unfreeze requests must be submitted by filling out the request form found at copastc.com/account-requests. All freeze requests must be filled out a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the day you wish to freeze. Freeze requests will go into effect the day before your next scheduled session. For example, if your last session before a freeze is on Tuesday, May 4th, your account will officially be frozen on Monday, May 10th. Any remaining funds on the account will be stored for use upon your return. This balance will be applied to your membership fees when you return until the full amount is exhausted. If you wish to freeze your account before you have satisfied the 3-month minimum commitment, you will be billed for the remaining balance of your commitment on the date the freeze takes effect. For example, if your membership began on April 1st and your freeze takes effect on May 10th, you will be billed the remaining balance of your three-month commitment on May 10th. If a medical issue renders a member unable to participate for an extended period, COPA STC will place a hold on the services in the member’s account where applicable without the freeze fee. A physician’s note will be required for medical reasons. Exclusions: Members are not eligible for any freeze if they have a past due/overdue balance on their membership.

All cancellations require fourteen (14) days’ notice. Cancellations will be effective following the end of the 14-day notice. If you need to cancel your membership prior to fulfilling your required three (3) months minimum commitment, you will still be required to pay the monthly membership fees for those first three months, whether you intend to continue attending COPA STC or not. Cancellation requests must be submitted by filling out the request form found at copastc.com/account-requests.

Members of COPA Train, COPA Kids and COPA SpeedLab are entitled to reschedule a specific number of sessions in a calendar month based on their membership level. The number of times you are permitted to reschedule per month is directly correlated to your weekly session frequency based on membership level. If you attend a small group program once per week, you are permitted one reschedule per month for that particular program. If you typically attend a small group program twice per week, you are permitted two reschedules per month for that particular program (and so on). Permitted reschedules DO NOT roll over from month to month. All session reschedules must be made a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours prior to the original scheduled start time. A session reschedule request results in a credit being deposited into the member’s account for future use. Management may change at any time the way in which credits may be validated by members. Any reschedule request made less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled session qualifies as a late cancellation. Any late cancellations and no-shows will result in forfeiture of that session. A credit does not expire as long as your Membership is active. If you freeze your account, your credits are frozen for the duration of your freeze and are not available for use. If you cancel your account, all credits are forfeited the day of cancellation. There is no refund provided for a session cancellation and credits cannot be added onto a current membership in the form of additional classes. All credits are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
  • 1. Login to members.copastc.com

***Stay tuned for exciting new reschedule options coming late June!

Each member will be charged an initiation fee of $100.00 upon signing up for a COPA STC membership. This policy is currently waived for any first-time members (policy subject to change at any time). Any member that has chosen to cancel a membership and then re-register will be subject to this initiation fee.

We understand that member’s schedules may change and that their COPA schedule may also need to change. COPA STC allows for one day/time switch to occur every 30 days. If you have already made a permanent schedule change in the last 30 days, we ask that you request a make-up credit for the session your athlete will miss.

To request a permanent day/time switch, follow the directions below
  • 1. Visit copastc.com/account-requests
  • 2. Scroll down and click on the ‘make a requests' button
  • 3. Fill out the associated form and choose ‘permanent day/time switch' under 'What can we help with?'
  • 4. Someone from our staff will be in touch to confirm

Although all memberships are on an auto renewal schedule, we understand that you may need to change your credit card information from time to time. Please call to update your credit card information when necessary.

If any credit card charge payable to COPA STC is not honored, Management will contact you to resolve the issue by phone or email. If the issue is not resolved within seven (7) days, Management will assess a $25.00 charge for each credit card rejected and collect the current and past-due balance in any subsequent month. To the extent that Buyer and Member is not the same person, Member shall be obligated to make all payments that Buyer fails or has failed to make (including past and future payments for use of COPA STC).

You will not be permitted access to enter COPA STC until all fees are current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you are obligated to pay any collection and/or legal costs incurred by COPA STC for collection of any fees. COPA STC reserves the right to charge balances and overdue balances to their current account under the EFT Authorization.

COPA STC may, at its option, terminate your membership if: (a) you fail to make timely payment under any payment plan; (b) you fail to follow COPA STC’s Membership Rules and Regulations or this Agreement; or (c) your conduct is improper or harmful to the best interests of COPA STC or its members. You will be notified of the termination of your account by phone or email to the information entered when registered. Termination for cause is effective on the date COPA STC first contacts you. You remain financially responsible for all dues and charges incurred until the date of termination and through your 3-month minimum commitment.

Our scheduled Holiday closure dates are listed below. If you session(s) fall on these days, your session will not occur. Our current monthly membership rates take into account the scenario that your session falls on one or more of the holiday closure dates, therefore, make-up credits will not be provided.
