COPA Train, COPA Kids and SpeedLab are all monthly membership-based programs with an auto-renewing billing cycle. Members of these programs commit to attending sessions at least one-time per week on a set day and time that they choose at registration. Our memberships do not have start or end dates, but are rolling memberships which continue from month to month. Become a member at anytime!

COPA Train
Train Experience: The COPA Train Experience is the initial membership onboarding step that provides your athlete an opportunity to get acclimated to some of COPA STC’s world class training technology, while providing our leadership staff an opportunity to determine the optimal training group(s) that will best maximize your athlete’s development.

Running and Movement Analysis: A Biomechanical Analysis to understand athlete’s movement patterns. The assessment will feature an on-site presentation of your athlete’s video analysis accompanied by a take-home score report.

To be considered a monthly member, your athlete must be actively attending one of our monthly membership-based programs (COPA Kids, COPA Train or SpeedLab). In addition to weekly training, our members receive perks like discounts towards camps, booking parties and other one-off special events.

To maximize your athlete’s objective development, it requires a consistent schedule and attendance by our members, combined with a progressive and purposeful curriculum from our program leadership. We don’t just want to tell you how your athlete’s improving, we want to show you. Because of this, we require members of our COPA Train, COPA Kids and SpeedLab programs to commit to a minimum of 3 months of membership.

COPA offers the option to freeze your membership at any time. You will not be billed your membership rate during a freeze. All freezes take place at the end of your current billing cycle. In order to freeze your account and not be billed again, all freeze requests must be submitted a minimum of 3 business days before your next bill date (if you are unsure of your bill date, please ask at the front desk or contact Member Services). Freeze/unfreeze requests must be submitted by filling out the request form found at Freeze requests made by email or phone will not be accepted. All freezes must be in effect for at least 30 days before you can unfreeze your athlete’s account. Exclusions: Members are not eligible for any freeze if they have a past due/overdue balance on their membership.

All cancellations require a minimum of 3 business day’s notice. Cancellations will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle and your athlete is welcome to attend their scheduled classes through this date. No refunds will be provided. Cancellation requests must be submitted by filling out the request form found at

  • 4. Click the “Yes, I want to request a make-up credit” button.
Members of COPA Train, COPA Kids and COPA SpeedLab are entitled to reschedule a specific number of sessions in a calendar month based on their membership level. The number of times you are permitted to reschedule per month is directly correlated to your weekly session frequency based on membership level.
  • Attends a program 1 time per week = 1 Make-Up Class Request per month for that particular program
  • Attends a program 2 times per week = 2 Make-Up Class Requests per month for that particular program
  • Attends a program 3 times per week = 3 Make-Up Class Requests per month for that particular program
Permitted requests DO NOT roll over from month to month. All Make-Up Class Requests must be made a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours prior to the original scheduled start time. Make-Up requests via email or VM will not be permitted. You will receive approval of the request within 72 hours AFTER THE END of your missed session. If you request a make-up but circumstances change and your athlete can attend the session you have requested, he/she is welcome to do so, you will just receive an email saying you have been denied the request.

A Make-Up Class Request results in a Make-Up Class Credit being deposited into the member’s account for future use. Management may change at any time the way in which credits may be validated by members. Any Make-Up Class Request made less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled session qualifies as a late cancellation. Late cancellations and no-shows will result in forfeiture of that session.

When members miss a session and request for a Make-Up Class Credit, a credit is deposited into their account. These Make-Up classes are classes that are outside of our normally scheduled offerings. Make-Up Class Credits cannot be used to prorate or reduce your monthly bill. Make-Up Classes are one-off training sessions with a rotating schedule of availability.
*All Make-Up Class bookings are final. No reschedules will be provided.
*We always suggest doing your best to attend your regularly scheduled class, as peer groups are not guaranteed for Make-Up Classes.
COPA Kids Make-Up Credits can be exclusively used for a COPA Kids Make-Up Class in the appropriate age group.
To maximize flexibility, COPA Train and SpeedLab members can use their Make-Up Class Credits universally across both programs in the appropriate age group, regardless of your athlete’s current membership program.
To book a Make-Up Class, follow the steps below:
  • 1. Login to and click on programs
  • 2. Choose COPA Make-Up Classes → Training → either COPA Kids, COPA Train or SpeedLab
  • 3. If no classes are listed under your athlete’s program, we are running special credit offerings that month. To register for a special credit course choose COPA Make-Up Classes → Training → Other Offerings
  • 4. Select your athlete and age group (you must choose the appropriate age group for which they attend their normal COPA classes)
  • 5. Move over the toggle for using a credit toward this class. If your athlete has an available Make-Up Class Credit, this will bring the balance down to $0.

We understand that member’s schedules may change and that their COPA schedule may also need to change. COPA STC allows for one day/time switch to occur per calendar month. If you have already made a permanent schedule change within the calendar month, we ask that you request a make-up credit for the session your athlete will miss.

Our scheduled Holiday closure dates are listed below. If your session(s) fall on these days, your session will not occur. Our current monthly membership rates take into account the scenario that your session falls on one or more of the holiday closure dates, therefore, make-up class credits will not be provided.

In accordance with the latest guidelines from Contra Costa County, COPA STC will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination for anyone entering its facility. Vaccinated patrons are not required to wear a mask. All unvaccinated patrons will still be required to wear a mask at all times while at COPA STC. For more information, please visit

Each member will be charged an initiation fee of $100.00 upon signing up for a COPA STC membership. This policy is currently waived for any first-time members (policy subject to change at any time). Any member that has chosen to cancel a membership and then re-register will be subject to this initiation fee.

Although all memberships are on an auto renewal schedule, we understand that you may need to change your credit card information from time to time. Please call to update your credit card information when necessary.

If any credit card charge payable to COPA STC is not honored, Management will contact you to resolve the issue by phone or email. If the issue is not resolved within seven (7) days, Management will assess a $25.00 charge for each credit card rejected and collect the current and past-due balance in any subsequent month. To the extent that Buyer and Member is not the same person, Member shall be obligated to make all payments that Buyer fails or has failed to make (including past and future payments for use of COPA STC).

You will not be permitted access to enter COPA STC until all fees are current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you are obligated to pay any collection and/or legal costs incurred by COPA STC for collection of any fees. COPA STC reserves the right to charge balances and overdue balances to their current account under the EFT Authorization.

COPA STC may, at its option, terminate your membership if: (a) you fail to make timely payment under any payment plan; (b) you fail to follow COPA STC’s Membership Rules and Regulations or this Agreement; or (c) your conduct is improper or harmful to the best interests of COPA STC or its members. You will be notified of the termination of your account by phone or email to the information entered when registered. Termination for cause is effective on the date COPA STC first contacts you. You remain financially responsible for all dues and charges incurred until the date of termination and through your 3-month minimum commitment.
