Introducing the COPA Score Dashboard: A New Era for Player Development and Talent ID

COPA Score Dashboard

At COPA, we believe that objective data should do two things: drive development and create opportunities. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the new COPA Score Dashboard — an interactive tool that not only guides players in their growth but also serves as a talent identification platform accessible to scouts, coaches, and partner organizations.

Your Data, All in One Place

The dashboard is the home for your COPA Score and the full breakdown of technical, physical, and cognitive performance. Right at the top, you’ll see your overall score, test date, and basic info. From there, three tabs let you dive deeper: Overview, My Data, and Terminology.

The Overview page gives you your COPA Score, training level, and skeletal age data — providing valuable insights into growth, predicted height, and development stage. Each metric includes info icons so you can understand exactly what it means and how it connects to your pathway.

My Data: Compare, Contextualize, Improve

The real power of the dashboard lives in the My Data tab. Here you’ll find:

  • Summary score showing how you rank compared to your chosen reference group
  • Spider graph visuals highlighting your performance across five key metrics
  • Detailed technical, physical, and cognitive metrics with percentile rankings

But what makes this powerful is context. Athletes can compare their data to different reference groups — from their age peers to some of the top levels of the game

Unlocking Reference Groups & Pathways

Over the past several years, COPA has built one of the most robust databases of soccer performance data in the U.S. and beyond. Players can now unlock reference groups such as:

  • College players
  • MLS Academies
  • NorCal PDP
  • Professional teams
  • European academies (including Bundesliga partners)

This allows athletes to see how they measure up to the level they aspire to. Maybe you’re already in the top percentile for speed compared to Division 1 players, but your technical score shows room to grow. This kind of insight makes it clear where to focus training to close the gap and reach your goals.

A Development Tool and a Talent ID Tool

The dashboard isn’t just for players and parents. It’s also designed as a talent ID platform. Partner organizations like NorCal PDP, college programs, and professional scouts can view player profiles, compare data, and use objective results to identify emerging talent.

That means every COPA Score you take isn’t just a snapshot of where you are — it’s also an opportunity to get noticed. The combination of development tracking + exposure is what makes this tool unique.

Why It Matters

The COPA Score Dashboard is more than numbers. It’s:

  • A development roadmap to guide training
  • A benchmarking tool against top levels of play
  • A Talent ID resource to create new opportunities
  • A pathway tool to help players see how close they are to their goals

Whether you’re looking for insight and targeting areas of development or preparing for PDP, looking at college soccer, or aspiring to the pros, the dashboard provides both clarity and visibility.
