COPA STC Announces New Date for Talent ID Day
Rescheduled event ensures top competition and opportunities for players to showcase their data-driven performance to professional and collegiate scouts
COPA Soccer Training Center has announced an important update to the next installment of its Talent ID Day. Please refer to the updated dates below:
| Event | Date | Location |
| COPA Winter Talent ID Day | Sunday February 15th, 2026 | Bay Area, CA |
The change comes as a result of a nationwide scheduling conflict with league events in December, which now will have prevented many players from attending.
All COPA Scores taken since August 1st 2025 are still eligible for an invite.
⚙️ How It Works: Earn Your Invite
To be considered for Talent ID Day, players must first complete a Free COPA Score assessment by February 7, 2026, at COPA STC in Walnut Creek, CA.
Invitations will be extended to top performers in each age group based on:
- Their COPA Score – a proprietary rating built from key Talent ID metrics
- Star qualities – unique standouts in areas like speed, technique, and decision-making
- Development stage benchmarking – maturity-adjusted potential using skeletal age (for U18s)
There are no nominations required. Every player is evaluated through the same objective process, ensuring a fair opportunity regardless of club affiliation or background.
Each player taking a COPA Score receives a personalized report via The COPA Score Dashboard, where they can see their scores, compare to multiple levels of play and focus their development.
📆 Deadline to qualify for COPA Winter Talent ID Day: February 7, 2026
