Do You Think You Have What It Takes To Play For One Of These Organizations?
COPA TALENT ID
START YOUR FREE COPA PATHWAY TODAY
The COPA Pathway transforms talent identification by creating equitable opportunities for all players, regardless of background, to be recognized and connected with COPA STC’s Talent ID partners. By comparing players’ objective data against standardized benchmarks from elite youth, college, and professional organizations, the Pathway identifies talent that may otherwise be overlooked by traditional subjective scouting methods.
The COPA Score is a laboratory-style assessment that utilizes the world’s most advanced technology to measure an athlete’s technical, physical, and cognitive abilities. By incorporating cutting-edge sports science techniques, such as bone density analysis to determine a player’s skeletal age and maturation stage, our approach offers deeper insights into a player’s long-term potential, effectively eliminating the common physical maturity bias often present in traditional talent identification methods.

STEP 1
THE COPA SCORE
The COPA Score is an in-depth assessment that evaluates key technical, physical, and cognitive abilities using the world’s most advanced technology. Backed by research and cutting-edge sports science, our approach offers deeper insights into an athlete’s long-term potential. By determining skeletal age and maturation stage through bone density analysis, we can accurately compare athletes based on both their chronological and biological age.
Assessment Technology
The COPA Cube measures an athlete’s technical proficiency, focusing on key areas such as First Touch, Passing Accuracy, Ball Striking, Speed of Play, and Scanning Ability.
The SpeedCourt measures an athlete’s agility, reaction time, processing speed, and multi-directional movement. It provides insights into how quickly and efficiently a player can change direction, react to stimuli, and perform under pressure—key metrics for understanding overall quickness and agility in dynamic game situations.
The SpeedTrack uses lasers to measures an athlete’s acceleration, top speed, and sprinting mechanics. It provides data on how quickly an athlete can reach and maintain maximum speed, offering insights into explosive power and sprint performance.
The Force Plate measures an athlete’s strength, power, balance, and force production. It provides data on force generation, ground reaction, and movement efficiency, helping to assess explosive power and stability in dynamic movements.
The Vienna Test measures cognitive abilities such as executive functions, stress tolerance, reaction time, decision-making, and concentration. It evaluates an athlete’s mental processing speed, focus under pressure, and ability to make quick, accurate decisions in challenging situations.
SonicBone measures an athlete’s bone density and skeletal health using non-invasive ultrasound technology. It provides data on an athlete’s skeletal age and maturation status, helping to assess their biological development in relation to their chronological age. This information is crucial for understanding physical maturity and long-term athletic potential.
Athletes receive a comprehensive report that identifies their strengths and weaknesses, comparing their performance to key benchmarks set by elite youth, college, and professional programs. This data-driven insight helps athletes understand where they stand and how to improve.

TALENT ID DAY
Athletes whose COPA Score data stands out—whether by excelling against their chronological-age peers or demonstrating exceptional potential based on their biological age—will be invited to COPA STC’s Talent ID Day. There, they’ll have a unique opportunity to showcase their skills in front of scouts from our partner organizations, potentially earning a chance to join elite youth, college, or professional programs. This event is designed to connect top talent with the right opportunities for advancement.
