FAQ

HAVE QUESTIONS?

When is the last day to register for Camps?
Camp registration will be closed 72 hours prior to the start of Camp. Camp Director’s will monitor the registration at the time of closing and will decide whether to add or adjust capacities.
What can I expect for my athlete’s first day of Camp?
Athletes are welcome to check in no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the Camp start time on the first day. The rest of the Camp week, you are welcome to check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of Camp. Upon checking in, athlete’s will be walked back to their first training space for the day where they will meet their coach. At the end of camp each day, athletes will need to be checked out of the facility at the Front Desk before leaving for the day. Please make sure to add all adults that will be picking your athlete up during the week to their approved pick-up list on the first day of camp.
Do you provide lunch or snacks?
We have designated lunch and snack times each day of Camp. Full day campers will need to pack a cold lunch. Snacks and water are also recommended. COPA STC does have vending machines and concessions on site with a variety of different snack and drink options. We recommend sending your Camper with small bills or coins if possible if they plan on using the vending machine.
Can I only attend 1 or 2 days of the 4-day Camps?
Camp registration is for the entirety of the Camp. Prorations and credit’s will not be applied if you cannot attend the full Camp.
Are there sibling or multi-Camp discounts?
No, COPA does not offer sibling or multi-Camp discounts at this time.
What is your refund policy if I can’t attend a Camp I purchased?
All registrations are final. We do not offer refunds, schedule changes, or transfers. If there are extenuating circumstances and your athlete is not able to attend Camp, please reach out to the Member Services Team via info@copastc.com to discuss your options.
How are players grouped during Camps?
Players are grouped based on age first and then based on playing level. In some situations, players may be assigned a different group after their first day. In the Elite Player Camp, players will be grouped based off of their training recommendations from the COPA Score Assessment.
Can I be with my friends / teammates?
COPA STC makes every effort to group friends but this cannot be guaranteed. If you are looking to be grouped with a friend, you must request it in the registration process.

  • You may request this by filling out the COPA Membership Request Form on the Member Services page of the COPA website or by emailing info@copastc.com.
  • You may cancel your registration for the Elite Camp all together to receive a refund for the price of the Elite Camp minus the cost of the COPA Score or Junior COPA Score. Except to see one these amounts subtracted from your refund if you move forward with cancelling your Elite Camp registration.
When is the last day to do an assessment to qualify for the camp?
The last Friday before the start of Camp is the last day to schedule a COPA Score or Junior COPA Score to qualify for the Elite Camp.
  • If your athlete has not earned a qualifying score by the Friday before the start of Camp, they will not be able to participate in the Elite Camp.
  • Example: If Elite Camp starts on Monday June 17, the last day to assess is Friday June 14.
Does my athlete have to pay for the COPA Score/Junior COPA Score to qualify?
No. When you register for the Elite Camp, a free COPA Score or Junior COPA Score Pass will be deposited into your Day Smart account to use towards your qualifying assessment for the Elite Camp.
  • To use your free pass, you will need to apply it in your cart once you’ve added the assessment to your cart on Day Smart. Applying the free pass should bring your total cost for the assessment down to $0.
  • Any additional assessments booked after the free pass has been used are your responsibility to pay for.
  • Example: If you do not qualify for the Elite Camp in the first COPA Score/Junior COPA Score you take and would like to try again, you will need to pay full price for your second assessment.
How are the training groups created for the Elite Camp?
Athletes in each age group are generally grouped based on the training recommendations from their COPA Score or Junior COPA Score card.
  • Camp curriculum is structured around the feedback provided in the scorecards.
